Rare harbor chart of Boulogne-Sur-Mer, published in London by John Luffman.
The jetties and fortifications of the town are shown, including the old castle. The course of the Lianne River through the town is likewise labeled. An interesting map of an important French port from the Napoleonic Era.
The text at the bottom notes:
Boulogne, a strong Sea Port Town of France in the Department of the Pas de Calais, 14 miles S. by W. from Calais, and 130 North of Paris.
