Issued in 1904 by the Louisiana Purchase Exposition Commissioners for Santa Barbara, the booklet gives physical and fiscal data on the county and city, as well as promotional information to encourage visitors and immigrants to the area.
Includes a number of early photographs, including oil wells on piers in Summerland, agriculture, midwinter sunbathing, mining, beet sugar factory and other items of interest, including images of Santa Maria.
Fine early single page map of the County at the back of the map.
