Description
Scarce 1924 map of Hong Kong, published by the Japanese Government Railway System.
The map shows numerous important buildings and landmarks, both of political and governmental interest and places for tourists. A key in the upper left corner lists hotels and hospitals.
A number of cemeteries are labeled: "Mahommedan Cemetery", "Roman Catholic Cemetery", "Parse Cemetery", "Jews Cemetery", and "Chinese Cemetery".
This map was issued as part of the 1924 Official Series Vol. D of the Guide to China and printed at the Toppan Printing Company.
Condition Description
Minor toning and foxing. Five vertical folds (original). Good to Very Good.
