Last year we shipped over 4,500 antique maps to more than 50 countries. Maps are shipped Monday through Friday year-round. If an order is received before 2 PM PST, we will ship the order that day. If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Shipping rates are provided as part of the checkout process.

Description

Lively pictorial map of Florida, published in Sebring Florida by Dave Mink.

The main image is surrounded by historic scenes across the top and bottom, Florida birds and animals at the left and fish on the right, with the 5 flags which have flown over Florida during is history at the bottom center.

The main map image is filled with vignettes telling local stories of tourism, history, crops, animals and historical vignettes.

The artist, David D.C. Mink studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine arts with Henry Keller and Jerry Farnsworth and was a member of the Chicago Artists Guild.

Rarity

The map is apparently very rare on the market. OCLC locates a single example at the State Library of Florida.
