Description
Rare promotional map of the region just south of Old Town Brunswick along the Turtle River, which has been subdivided and laid out for sale. Brunswick was incorporated in 1856, but we have been unable to obtain any meaningful information as to when the subdivision was undertaken (admittedly, we were anxious to get the map ready to take to the Miami Map Fair and simply ran out of time!). The map was originally laid on linen and has been rebacked with fresh linen. There are some minor losses along the folds, but in all the map is in remarkable condition for what appears to be an extreme rarity. Not in Phillips.
