Highly detailed folding map of London and environs.
The map is exceptionally detailed, including all of the buildings constructed up to 1797. Bowles regularly updated this map, making it one of the most up to date maps of London published during the period.
Carington Bowles first issued this plan in 1777 and updated it regularly to the end of the 18th century. This map was issued by his firm, Bowles and Carver, from their offices at No. 69 St. Paul's Church Yard, London.
The map includes advertising for several other Bowles publications.
