Finely detailed map of Brigadier General Wool's march from , which accompanied Capt. G.W. Hughes' Memoir descriptive of the March of a Division of the US Army under the command of Brig. Gen. J.E. Wool from San Antonio in Texas to Saltillo in Mexico."

The map shows the route from San Antonio to Saltillo, crossing the Rio Grande River between Laredo and Piedras Negras, Mexico. The map shows the southern Texas Coastline from Port Isabel and Matamoros to La Vaca Bay (Port La Vaca). Nice details shown along the Nueces River and San Antonio River, and tributaries. Parts of the Laredo Road, Lower Presidio Road, Gonzales Road, Nacogdoches Road and Seguin Road are shown, along with the various roads to Corpos Christi.
