Description

Fine large format map of Poland, from the end of the 18th Century.

The map title reflects the map divisions of Poland established in St. Petersburg on October 24, 1795 and thereafter by Russian Manifesto of December 25, 1795.

Highly detailed, far more so than typical maps of the period. Includes a key naming Polish Worters.

There exists a variant edition with a decorative title cartouche and a title attributing the map to Sotzmann but otherwise largely the same.
