Description

Fine city map of Beijing, published in Beijing in 1937.

The map shows a detailed street map of the Chinese Capital, including the city walls, which were torn down in the 1950s.

The map was printed during the period of the Chinese Republic, with the left hand column noting that it was published in the 26th year of the Republic of China (26 after the end of the Qing Dynasty in 1911).
