Fine large format map of California, published in San Francisco by Amerine & Willson and printed by Britton & Rey.
Finely detailed large map of California, apparently one of two maps of California published by Amerine & Willson, who list a host of other Western maps which they published on the back cover of the map.
All maps by Amerine & Willson are quite rare, with the Streeter copy of Amerine & Willson's Map of Washington With Adjacent Parts of British Columbia, Montana and Idaho published at Spokane Falls making $80 (Item 3338).
The map is of the utmost rarity. OCLC locates only 2 examples (Yale and Bancroft Library).
