Description

Extemely rare Swedish Sea chart of the coasts of the Baltic, Sweden and Finland, by Nils Thorvedsson Stromcrona.

Strömcrona, 1664 - 1740, produced important charts of Sweden and the Baltic, used later by Frenchman Claret de Fleurieu and Russian Naval mapmaker Alexei Nagayev. His maps very rarely appear on the market.

Condition Description

Soiled, with some oil spots. Curiously colored.
