Description
scarce pair of New York City plans. The top plan, entitled Plan General de la Ville, extends from the Southern tip of Manhattan to Westchester County and showns the street plan, some of the larger buildings and squares, Ft Washington, Ft. George and a few roads in Westchester. The secon Plan Particulier de la partie Sud De La Ville shows the sourthern tip of Manhattan, extending to Washington Place and including Brooklyn. A key naming 37 buildings, churches, colleges, armories, ferry lines, etc. is shown. The names A.H. Dufour and Benard as additional credits. Not listed in the past 20 years in any dealer catalogue.
