Description
Rare map of the Holy Land and contiguous regions, depicted as it would have appeared at the time of the Reign of King Solomon, based upon the reports derived from the Old Testament. The map is based upon an earlier map by de la Rue and re-engraved in Padova by the Tipografia del Seminario, for a rare multi-volume historical atlas, issued at the end of the 17th Century. Maps from this work are rarely available and almost never offered in full original color.
