Description
This elegant view of Cook's death in Hawaii at the hands of the locals appeared in the rare L'ami du monde , hélas ! meurt en proie aux sauvages.
We have never seen the view prior to acquiring it and could locate only scant information about it source. The only example of the view which we were able to locate is in the National Library of Australia.
