Description

Rare early map of New York City by Gaylord Watson, one of his earliest separately issued maps, following his association with Phelps. The map extends north to 111th Street and shows streets, wards, parks, lakes, wharfs, ferrys, railroad lines and a host of other details. A few minor fold splits and some minor loss along several folds, but in all a very presentable example of this rare early promotional map. Only one listing in AMPR in the past 25 years (same copy of the map).
