Shows towns, counties, railways, mail and stage routes (divided into daily and less than daily service routes), carriage roads, foot paths, rivers, lakes, mountains, islands, bays and steamship packet routes. A marvelous and highly detailed map. Adam & Charles Black were among the leading publishers of atlases and travel books in the 19th Century England.
