Nice example of Amos Doolittle's rare map of Connecticut, one of the earliest maps of Connecticut printed in America.

Includes excellent detail throughout, including towns, roads, court houses, meeting places, rivers, lakes, islands, etc.

Decorative title cartouche incorporates the coat of arms of Connecticut.

The map is scarce on the market.

This is the first of two states, with the 1797 still present at the bottom of the title cartouche.
