Famed San Diego Soprano Augusta Starkey Performs

A portion of the photograph is similar to an image taken by San Diego Union Tribune photographer Harry T. Bishop on August 16, 1925, which is currently in the San Diego Historical Society archives.

Augusta Starkey was a well regarded singer, who was married to San Diego philanthropist Harold Starkey.

Condition Description
Photographic print on early 20th century silver gelatin paper. Two sheets joined to create one image. Minor damage the right edge, stabilized and compensated with archival materials.
