Description

Fine early plan of Santiago de Queretaro, lithographed in New York, by Messier, in 1844.

The plan provides a fine large image of the town of Queretaro, along with the environs and roads leading into the town. A key identifies approximately 30 major landmarks with other buildings identified in the image and shown in a profile view style. A large aqueduct is shown at the right side of the map. The roads are also identified by name in the map.

The map is very rare. No examples are located in OCLC.
