Description

Highly detailed map of parts of Delaware Bay, New Jersey, New England, New York, Pennsylvania, the Country of the Six Nations and Vermont, based upon a map of same title by C.J. Sauthier, one of the primary English map makers during the American Revolution The map is at a scale of 1 mile to 16 inches and includes remarkable detail. Vermont is shown as part of Canada. Highly detailed and interesting map of the Northeast. The map has several repaired tears and a few unrepaired fold splits, some facsimile work and a bit of staining and colore offsetting, but is still a good example of this rare Revolutionary War map. Normally, a $4500.00 map.
