Contains a double page coast to coast map of the US (copyright 1828) showing North West Territory from Michigan to the Missouri River, Missouri Territory from the Missouri to the Rockies and Oregon Territory from the Rockies to the Pacific, and Arkansas with a western extension. Other double page maps include World; Middle States; Southern States; Western States (west to Missouri and Illinois). Single page maps include the World with religion chart; North America; New England; South America; Europe; Asia; Africa; chart showing the size, population and government of various world regions. A very good+ example of Olney's popular School Atlas, which enjoyed a long publication run, first issued in 1829. His School Atlas was accepted as a standard work and used for thirty years in almost every public and private school in the United States.
