Twentieth-century map, hand-drawn for the tourist market in Istanbul, showing the Ottoman Empire extending through the Balkans, up the coasts of the Black Sea, North Africa, the Red Sea, and the Persian Gulf. A man carries a flag with three crescent moons, a set of symbols associated with Ottoman Arabia. Labels are done in a pseudo-Arabic script.
