Description

The Mission Valley Water Company was one of San Diego's pioneer 19th-century water companies. The main project of the company was bringing water from the San Diego River into Mission Valley - an area that remained largely agricultural well into the 20th-century.

The map shows 3 reservoirs, as well as the course of the San Diego River.

Condition Description

Pen & ink map on drafting linen, with some outline color. Age-toned. Fold marks. Else very good.
