Tourist map of Israel, published in 1974, with the 1967 Ceasefire Line or Purple Line demarcated in purple.
An inset map of Sinai and the Negev marks the forward lines of Egypt (Ras el 'Ish south to Ras al Masala) in red and Israel in blue before Israel ceded the entirety of the peninsula to Egypt. Yamit, evacuated and demolished prior to the return, is shown on the Mediterranian shore of the Sinai, and Sharm El Sheikh is shown as Ofira.
A caveat in the bottom margin of the map states, "This map is not an authority on international boundaries."
Condition Description
Folding map. Some wear along fold lines, including holes at crossfolds. A few pen markings, one noting the location of the moshav Margaliot.
