If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

Fine, large-scale vintage navigational chart of the coast around Cannes, on the French Riviera.

The map shows the region between the Cap de L'Aguille and the Pointe Croisette, with great detail in between. Roads, topography, land use, and more are all shown. Depth soundings are shown throughout. The first and abbeys on the Ile Sainte. Marguerite and the Ile St. Honorat are shown.

This map was published by the Service Hydrographic de la Marine, first drawn up in 1897 and updated to 1941. The map includes a small pastedown over the harbor in Canne's centreville.

Condition Description

Some foxing and toning. Vertical and horizontal folds weakening.
