Description

An interesting anatomical and thematic mapping poster from the beginning of the 20th century, part of series done by James McConnell.

The poster has anatomical diagrams of pigs at the right and maps of the distribution of hog farming on the left. There is some educational text and additional illustrations.

On the reverse is a similar poster but for insects, and not printed in color as this one is.

Rarity

The poster is apparently quite scarce; we have not located another one in general internet searches nor in OCLC.

Condition Description
Color-lithographed on the recto, black and white on the verso. Faint dampstain. Edged with linen, except at the top, where a dowel seems to have been removed.
