The map extends from the southeast portion of San Mateo County, all of Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties, and parts of Monterey, San Benito and Alameda Counties.
Of note are the points of interest overprinted in red, most of which are tourist locations, such as Bathing Beache, National Monuments, Ranches, Big Tree (Sequoia) Groves, Lick Observatory, etc.
