If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Mammoth Albumen Photograph of Pikes Peak

Stunning mammoth albumen photograph showing Pikes Peak in the background (though faintly) through Gate Rock. The photograph shows a rocky landscape with a covered carriage being pulled by two horses tied up to a fence post in the foreground. The carriage is surrounded by towering rock formations, including Gate Rock and Pikes Peak, which are both well-known landmarks in the American West. The photograph is a beautiful and evocative image that captures the rugged beauty of this region. It is a testament to Jackson's skill as a photographer and his ability to convey the majesty and drama of the American West through his images.

Original albumen photograph. On card mount. Some spotting, toning to print and mount; corner and edge wear to mount, including occasional pinholes, some chipping. 21 x 16 3/4 inch mammoth plate albumen photograph on original 25 3/4 x 21 1/2 inch. mount.
