Description
Scarce Nazi-era map of southeastern Europe, largely focusing on the Balkans and Greece.
The map was issued by the Bibliographisches Institut AG., of Leipzig, in 1941.
Albania is labeled "Personalunion mit Italien" or "Personal union with Italy." The southern end of the "Gereral-Gouvernement" is labeled as such. A variety of shortlived borders and geopolitical eccentricities are documented on the map. The Italian possessions in the eastern Agean are also noted.
Condition Description
Folding map with wear and some loss at folds (as illustrated). Paper is somewhat fragile. Some toning at original folds.
