Description

Strange and intriguing lithographed personification print showing a maps turned into a structure made of plates, vases, and serving bowls.

This lithograph was made by a series of prints made for Purcell's Lithographic Drawing Book, which now appears to be known in no examples. 

The image was lithographed by George E. Madeley after a drawing by George Spratt. Spratt and Madeley made another collection of personification prints, entitled "Figures of Fun."
