Description

Strange and intriguing lithographed personification print showing a woman turned into a structure made of china and crockery.

This lithograph was made by a series of prints made for the Purcell's Lithographic Drawing Book, which now appears to be known in no examples.

The image was lithographed by George E. Madeley after a drawing by George Spratt. Spratt and Madeley made another collection of personification prints, entitled "Figures of Fun."
