Hand drawn map of the battle of Yorktown, drawn in about 1810.

Circumstantial evidence suggests that this is likely the original artwork for the map of the Battle of Yorktown which would accompany the 1810 printing of John Marshall's Life of Washington.  The drawing was found in a collection of other drawings and early American lithographs, which included a number of works by the famed French artist Charles Alexandre Lesueur, who
