Antique map of Ottoman Jerusalem, showing the Christian, Armenian, Jewish, and Muslim quartiers as well as the Via Dolorosa. A dashed blue lines mark the aqueducts; the Lower Aqueduct reached the Temple Mount and the Upper, Gihon Spring.

The Credit Lyonnais (#13) opened its Jerusalem branch in 1892 outside of Jaffa Gate.
