An impressive and detailed panoramic view of Denver, looking to the west, from the vantage point of the Central Presbyterian Church tower at 17th and Sherman, after photographs by renowned western photographer William Henry Jackson.
The State Capital Building is on the far left, with the area near the Brown Palace Hotel in the foreground at the far right. In the distance, the snow capped mountains extend from Mount Hahn to Pike's Peak and Devil's Head.

The view was created from four separate photos by Jackson, which have been joined in the printing process.
Jackson was one of the foremost photographers of the American West.

The Denver Public Library has a folding copy of the view.
The Williamson-Haffner Engraving & Printing Company was founded in about 1890 by H. M. Williamson and Frank J. Haffner.
The company began business as photo-engravers, but expanded other forms of printing and advertising.
