Description
Unusual and scarce Brazzaville-published map of the Republic of the Congo published in 1964.
The French-language map utilizes traditional Midcentury pictorial elements to illustrate the places of interest to tourists. There are many examples of local arts and crafts embodied in the illustrations.
The key lists game reserves (Reserves de Faune), scenic vistas, waterfalls, areas where planes could land, etc.
Rarity
We can find no examples online nor in OCLC and would expect the map to be very scarce.
