Interesting Vichy French propaganda map highlighting the losses suffered by France at the hands of the British over the course of more than 200 years.

The map lists colonial territorial losses suffered by the French to the benefit of the British, dating back to Newfoundland in 1713 and extending to Dakar in 1940.

Vichy France was wont to produce this variety of counterintuitive propaganda (Would more than two centuries of defeat really entice a people to fight?) with frequent map-based allusions to the malevolent omnipotence of the British.
