Description

Fantastic Colorado sightseeing pamphlet with an integral bird's-eye view of the Colorado Springs to Pikes Peak region of the state.

The view shows Pikes Peak, Colorado City, Colorado Springs, Manitou, Cliff Dwellings, the Garden of the Gods, Stratton Park, Broadmoor, Cheyenne Canyon, and Seven Falls. In the foreground is an unusual image of dozens of formally dressed women being driven around in exceptionally early open-top buses(?).

The view is credited to W.E. Bridgeman and copyrighted 1910.

A section of the pamphlet outlines the fares and nature of the sightseeing trips that are being offered.

The pamphlet's covers are highly unusual, with a modernist image of a woman in early-20th-century garb hanging onto a very early biplane and looking down on mountain scenery with a telescope.
