Attractive bird's-eye view map of the American Northeast, between New York City and Boston, issued by C.S. Hammond & Co. of New York.
The map shows "all points of interest on the East River, Long Island Sound and the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Coast." (Not to mention Connecticut!) With early airplanes shown dotting the sky over region depicted.
The map focuses on steamship lines and related maritime landmarks, as it was presumably aimed at travelers taking the sea route between Boston and New York, and places in between.
Folding map mounted in original orange paper folder.
