Description
Rare map of Southeast Asia, Philippines and India, published by Antoine de Fer in about 1651.
Picart's map is based upon Jansson's map, published in his Atlas Minor in 1628.
The map provides a fine detailed treatment of the region and perhaps most notably, a very curious treatment of the Philippines.
The map is extremely rare, with no appearances in AMPR in the past 30 years.
