Description

Interesting Revolutionary War era map of South Carolina, published in Trenton, New Jersey.

The map appeared in David Ramsay's The History of the Revolution of South-Carolina, From a British Province to an Independent State.

The map shows British Brigadier General Augustine Prevost's route between Purrysburg and the Ashley River in the Spring of 1779, and General Green's March in September 1781

Notations on the map locate British and American Encampments and battles. 

Condition Description
Small restorations at fold intersections. Small area of reinstatement in lower-left corner just affecting the neatline and graticulated border. Margins extended from neatline.
