Scarce large format map of the US, Russian America and British America, at about the time of the Gadsden Purchase. California is shown as a state, but called New California. New Mexico and Utah are newly formed territories. Oregon Territory and Georgia dominate the Northwest. Texas is oddly misshaped on its northern border. Extensive details throughout Canada. Several Wagon roads to the west are shown, along with details on Indians, etc. Tennassee is misspelled. Minnesota has not yet become a Terrirtory, with Iowa still extending to the Canadain border. New Norfolk, New Cornwall and new Hannover dominate the coastal British Columbia. Many other fascinating early details. Liverpool published maps are quite scarce.
