Description
Finely constructed wall map of Europe, published by Francesco Pagnoni in Milan and dedicated to the Associati della Corograpfia d'Italia.
The map is filled with tables of statitistical information, including length of rivers, population of capital cities, heights of principal mountains, religious populations, etc.
Across the top of the map are a series of illustrations of the principal mountain ranges by country. Across the bottom is an interesting vignette showing typical costumes, along with a colorful table of war and mercantile naval banners and a gorgeous title vignette.
