Evocative World War I poster produced by the Jewish Welfare Board using art by Sidney H. Riesenberg.
The arresting image shows an American soldier asking civilians for "all the help and comfort you can give" amidst the brutality of trench warfare.
The Jewish Welfare Board raised funds for troops during the First World War, and later became the Jewish Community Centers Association.
Condition Description
Backed on archival tissue. Several cracks in the image stabilized by backing. small losses to blank paper on the right side.
