If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

Wonderful pictorial map by George Avey of Phoenix, Arizona and the surrounding region.

Avey was also responsible for the famous "Valley of the Sun" pictorial in much the same style. However, that map was published 10 years before the present one and is seemingly not quite as scarce.

The pamphlet also features a two-page photographic bird's-eye of downtown Phoenix.

Elements of Arizona's history and irreverent cartoons make up important elements of the map's composition.

A colorful brochure promoting the Cunard Line's West Indies Cruise on the S.S. Franconia in December of 1927. The brochure offers several views of the amenities on the ship, the cabins, and the varied ports throughout the Caribbean the ship planned to call upon. The combination of colorful illustrations and black and white photographs create a nice contrast in the image making for a more engaging piece.
