Description

Fascinating printed and manuscript map of the famed Paris Exposition of 1900 showing the method by which electricity was distributed around the fairgrounds.

The legend below the map lists a variety of providers of either the equipment or electricity itself. There are also symbols for boxes to invert and interrupt circuits.

A wonderful ephemeral bit of information about one of the great events of the outset of the 20th century.

Condition Description
Contemporary photographic transfer, dissected in ten sections and backed on contemporary linen. With extensive manuscript amendments in black and red ink.
