Description

Entertaining pictorial map of the United States, published by the World Peace Council in Finland.

The map is a clever colorful spin on David Horsey's map of the same title, without any thematic changes.

The World Peace Council was created in 1950 by the Soviet Union as a means of promoting its foreign policy goals. Based in Helsinki from 1968 to 1999, its primary aim was to promote the idea that the Soviet Union was the primary agent of world peace, whereas the United States was the primary exporter of world weaponization, war and aggression.
