Detailed topographical map of Southeastern Riverside County and the north part of the Borrego Valley, published by the US Geological Survey.
The map is centered on the Cleveland National Forest and Santa Rosa Mountains, extending south to Palm Canyon and the Borrego Valley and east to Indio, Coachella and the area immediately west of the Salton Sea.
The map focuses on the topography of the region, but also includes roads, railroads, rivers, towns, mountains and other early details, including the location of early structures.
Condition Description
Mounted on contemporary linen. Small areas of paper loss from insect damage, with linen showing through from verso. As illustrated.
