If an order is received after that time, we will ship the next day. We ship maps either flat in custom packages or in specially ordered thick tubes. Description

Interesting original antique plate showing the root cause of the phases of the moon. The map depicts the earth's orbit around the sun, and the moon's orbit around the earth, noting which bits of the moon are darkened at any point in a lunar cycle.

This interesting print was published in Italy in 1839 as part of Francesco Marmocchi's Atlante di Geografia Universale.
