Description
Fisk & Co map of downtown Chicago, showing a great 19th-century view of the city. The map extends west to Garfield Park and Crawford Avenue, and shows a remarkable street-by-street level of detail. Twenty-two places of interest including hotels, government buildings, and courthouses are included in a legend.
Other interesting detail is included in Lake Michigan, including breakwater and a government pier. This map was included in a relatively uncommon atlas produced by Fisk & Co.
