Description

Interesting detailed road map of Sri Lanka from 1955.

The map was issued by the Ceylon Survey Department when N.S. Perera was the Surveyor General of Ceylon.

The map includes inset plans of Jaffna, Anuradhapura, Kurunegala, Kandy, Colombo, Galle, and Nuwara Eliya.

The map notes that it was revised in 1950 and reprinted in 1955.

Color-printed folding map mounted in original printed paper covers. Minor wear and toning at original folds.
